Opening night Seed of Hope exhibition at the Arches in Glasgow
On Thursday the 19th of July the Arches experienced the busiest night in it’s history when the Seed of Hope exhibition was opened by Glasgow-based photographer and partner to the Foundation, Jimi Rae.
Jimi’s work reflects the true spirit of the Sumerian Foundation projects – not images of despair, but of hope, enthusiasm and trust. To find more information about his stunning work, please visit his website Jimi Rae
Another highlight of the evening was the breathtaking performance of singer Sarah Mitaru and her band. Sarah is an up-and-coming musician who has performed with stars like Eric Wainena, Kenya’s most famous pop artist, and has recently been working in London on her own recording contract. A voice and sparkling personality that sends shivers down your spine!
The exhibition runs until Tuesday 14th of August. For further information, please visit The Arches website.
