The Sumerian Foundation aims to eliminate long term poverty to some of the world’s most vulnerable children through the building of social enterprise and development programmes.

Through investing in economic opportunities, as well as care and education, the Foundation's programmes are focused on becoming fully self-sustainable. A great example of this approach is the Johari Apprenticeship Scheme, which provides opportunities to vulnerable young women – teaching them skills to build a living for themselves and their families.
